The Fi-Fy Story

2014
Fi-Fy (then "Gratuit") founded in Montreal
Founders Yves-Alexandre and Xavier built the first version after seeing a small nonprofit lose $4,000 in fees on a fundraising gala — money that should have fed families.

2016
First 1,000 nonprofits join
Word spread through the Canadian nonprofit community. We added donation forms and membership management in response to user feedback.

2019
Launched in the United States
Expanded to serve US nonprofits with compliant raffle, auction, and peer-to-peer tools. Rebranded to Fi-Fy.

$1 billion raised for nonprofits
Crossed a historic milestone — $1 billion raised by nonprofits using Fi-Fy, with $0 in platform fees charged to any organization.

Expanded to the United Kingdom
Launched UK operations. 100,000+ nonprofits globally. $2B+ raised. Team grows to 150+ people across North America and Europe.
